Arndilly Estate Farming - Arndilly Ben Aigan Limousin Pedigree Herd

The whole genetics of the herd has been imported from France and is renewed permanently. Limousins are known for their low birth weight and is an easy calving cow (low veterinary costs) and their ability to produce lean, tender meat. Limousins are also ideal for crossbreeding. On Arndilly there are plenty fields for outside breeding for the cattle and for the crops in particular barley for the distilleries. The steep field inclines means that the cattle are exercised and provides them with a nice shape. They feed freely on the grass and except from the calves are not pellet fed.

The farming activity of Arndilly Estate is based around Aikenway Farm. The farm currently has a bull which is available for sale and sement of excellent bull for sale.
